Tribe Session at Brenneman Playground

Where: Brenneman Elementary School Playground (4251 N Clarendon, 60613)

Time: 630p-730p

Cost: $5 suggested donation

About the Tribe Sessions:

Our method of instruction focuses on bodyweight only disciplines which help to build a solid foundation of strength, flexibility, and stamina. We encourage natural movements such as pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, climbing, jumping, running and swinging.

We are a community that motivates each other to be our optimal being. We are an inclusive group and we welcome new members to join in and learn to move without limits!

Why donation based sessions?

We do this because we love it. Movement is our passion and makes us feel alive. We know movement has the power to transform individual lives as well as entire communities. We believe everyone, regardless of their financial situation,  should have equal access to facilities, instructors and events that teach and inspire movement.

All of Go Infinite’s sessions are free or low-cost/donation based. Some have questioned our strategy and may believe we are crazy. The truth is we are a bit crazy because it takes people thinking outside of the box and challenging the status quo to create lasting positive change.

Donation based sessions allow those who are experiencing financial hardship the ability to receive quality training. We have also noticed that those who are financially stable are eager to donate because they see the value in what we are doing. Whatever you financial situation we want you to come out to our sessions and experience the energy, quality instruction and motivation from the Go Infinite Tribe!

Training Day at Dirt Runner Part 2

The  Dirt Runner course is roughly 4 miles long and has over 30 obstacles that are typically found in obstacle course races (inverted ladder, walls, rope climbs/swings, cargo nets, etc.). There's also obstacles which were modeled after America Ninja Warrior such as the salmon ladder, pegboard, warped wall, slack line and traverse wall.

We had a ton of fun and got in some quality training the first time around, so if you missed it here's your chance to see what its all about. Remember, this is only a training day and not the actual race. So we’ll be able to run through the entire course and test out all of the obstacles at our own pace. It will be a good workout and a fun time. Post race festivities include beer, food, music and a picnic area where we can barbeque.

Runner fee is $25 ($20 for Go Infinite Training members)

Kids course is $15

I am really excited to for this event as it will definitely give us a progress check and make sure we are on path towards our August goal. Hopefully, we can carpool, because I know some of us don’t drive. We’ll discuss a little more on Saturday, but if you have any questions email me: goinfinitetraining@gmail.com

Check out the site for more info and pics of the obstacles:
